    • Identified a problem at the Waste Management corporate offices: high trash amount.
    • Designed a prototype for a device to measure the weight of trash generated at the corporate office.
    • Engineered a device with electrical components to accurately measure and display the weight of the trash cans at the corporate office to monitor data.
    • Programmed an Arduino to process the weight sensor data and store the information.

  1. Texas Convergent; University of Texas at Austin

    Engineering Chair & Forge Tech Lead

    • Established a dedicated knowledge sharing platform within Convergent, empowering members to collaboratively exchange project artifacts, technical insights, and business strategies, fostering collective and streamlined learning.
    • Optimized the applicant review process by building a fullstack application to review over 600 applicants per semester, allowing leads to rate prospective members, enhancing productivity and ensuring a thorough selection process.
    • Led a dynamic cross-functional team comprising of 15 members in the development of a feature-rich mobile application for Qwell, a foundation aimed at promoting inclusivity and connecting business with Austin’s LGBTQ+ community.

    Tech & Design Engineer - Internet of Things Build Team

    • Part of an 8 student team consisting of technical engineers, product designers, and business analysists.
    • Implemented a fullstack application, using React Native for mobile, NextJS for the web, and PocketBase as a backend.
    • Presented a live demonstration of the application during Demo Day, winning the Best Overall award out of all the build teams in Fall 2022.
